On Friday 7 March, nine girls from Years 5 and 6 attended Abbeyfield School for the Biggest Girls Football Event 2025!  They were mixed up into teams with other schools and took part in football drills and games with over 400 girls from local schools.  Everyone made new friends and connections; there were inspirational speakers promoting girls playing sport too.  The children showed amazing teamwork skills and were enthusiastic and friendly to everyone in their teams.  This was the biggest girls' football event in Wiltshire and all the children came away with a certificate and medal as well as a whole lot of girl power!!
