Eco Council - Corsham in Bloom and Planting trees at Broadwood
ECO Council have been very busy this term showing judges around the school for the Corsham in Bloom competition. The judges wanted to know what we do across the school to be ECO friendly and sustainable. ECO Council enjoyed showcasing our school, showing them the water butts, solar panels, orchard, bug hotels, compost bins and so much more that we have up and running at Corsham Primary School. We have now found out the fantastic news that we won the competition. We are excited to receive a certificate and £25 to spend on ECO books at Corsham Bookshop. Well done ECO Council for your hard work!
Wiltshire Wildlife Trust have donated 100 sapling trees to Corsham Primary School; this was kindly organised by Mrs Brett. ECO Council would like to thank Mrs Brett for coming in to support us plant over 50 sapling trees at our Broadwood site this week. ECO Council will be planting their sapling trees very soon at Pound Pill.
We look forward to continuing to make our school even more ECO friendly and sustainable in 2024!
