Message from the Headteachers ...

Congratulations to Miss Mackay, one of our wonderful teaching assistants at Broadwood, who is expecting her second child in November. We are very much looking forward to buying some baby gifts!

We welcome Mrs Laura Lodge and Mrs Katy Haresnape to our Lunchtime Playworker teams over both sites. Both ladies are already well known to us as dedicated volunteers who are regularly in school helping out. It is super to be welcoming Laura and Katy onto our staff team.

We are going to be saying farewell and best of luck to Mrs Abi Fulluck, who is leaving us at the end of term so that she can travel and spend some time with her family. Mrs Fulluck's fabulous energy will be greatly missed, but we will keep in touch with what she is doing over the coming months.

After 22 years of working at Corsham Primary as a PA to the teaching team, Mrs Sandra Laming has decided to take early retirement and spend more time with her family. We will be wishing Sandra every happiness at the end of the academic year and hope that she thoroughly enjoys her retirement. Thank you from all of us Sandra, for all your commitment and hard work over the years.

Attendance

Corsham Primary School supports the principles, practice and procedures outlined in the DfE school attendance document. We believe pupils can only take full advantage of their education by regular and punctual attendance at school to ensure continuity of learning.

May attendance across both sites was 93%

Number of late arrivals across both sites was 0.4%

If you need to report your child's absence, please telephone and leave a message on the office answerphone giving the reason for absence. This is important for our daily registers which must reflect accurately, why a child is not in school. Also, if your child will not be attending school due to a planned event, please request a Leave of Absence form from the school office.
